[He said he would leave Theon alone, and he had meant it, at the time. A lot has happened since then. Above all else, a mix of missing his medication and pining for a broken men had lead him to burning the only person he has from his own world, a person he cares very much about even if he won't admit it.
He knows it isn't Theon's fault, but who else can he take it out on?
He tracks the man down in a bar, drinking alone. It's as private a setting as Dodger could ask for - he knows Theon hasn't been back in his dome since their night together. There's no noise to announce him except a quiet pop, before Theon is plunged into the darkness of Dodger's teleportation. The world rights itself just as Theon is thrown to the floor of a unisex bathroom, and Dodger towers over him as he reaches behind to press a white-hot hand to the doorknob. It takes a moment but the handle sags, melting itself into the doorframe and filling the room with the smell of metal and cheap wine.]
[This took a lot of willpower and particular desperation. He doesn't like it and he's clenching his teeth as he sends the message, but need outweighed anger.]
Tell me there will be no battles this time. No monsters, no giants. That we'll all be alright come tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow. Even if you must lie.

[He didn't have a plan, but... he's already sent a few blank messages, so this time he's forcing himself to speak.]
Got a moment?
