[ It's quite for a long moment. ]

[Another pause.]

I don’t particularly enjoy the thought of coming to you.

Do I seem like someone you can scare? Threats aren’t really making me more interested in seeing you.

If you weren't scared, then why did you run off last time.

[There's a frustrated growl in his voice.]

Don't lie to me. If you weren't interested you wouldn't have stripped.

[That's it, he's hunting Theon down. Shouldn't take long, since Theon's scent is the only thing he's been able to focus on properly for a few days now.]

[ Theon just stops talking to Dodger then. He knows that before long Dodger will find him and there's a sort of resignation to it. He hadn't taken his clothes off out of any sense of interest in the man. He didn't have an interest in him but he wanted to be left alone by him.

There's something in him that's far too much a reminder of Ramsay for Theon to be comfortable around him.

Theon contemplates how much to fight Dodger when he shows up at his dome. He knows he'll find him. What would it be that makes Dodger lose interest? ]

[It really isn't long before Dodger appears in Theon's dome; the only warning is a trail of sparks that seem to pass through the door as if it isn't there, before they materialize into Dodger's form. He snaps his fingers to light a cigarette, takes a deep drag and lets the smoke trail from his mouth as he speaks.]

Not going to hide, huh?

You’d just find me.

[ Theon has had enough of running away or hiding in games he can’t win. ]

Why won’t you bother someone who wants you?

[smokedout]

Smart man.

[Dodger isn't about to play coy this time, he's frustrated and horny and he already knows he'll have to take what he wants. He moves closer with purpose, like a predator closing in, until he hooks a finger into the front of Theon's pants to hold him in place, and leans close enough that their lips are barely an inch apart.]

I want you. That's all the reason I need.

I don’t want you.

[ Theon says it even though he knows it’s already clear. He tenses as he’s held in place by the other. He could think of a number of ways to attack but if he had been serious he would have grabbed a sword or had a bow at the ready when dodger came in. But he doesn’t. It’s the Reek that still lives in him, the broken part of him that remembers sometimes it’s easier not to fight something you can’t stop.

He can feel Dodger’s hot breath and he exhales. ]

You’ll be disappointed.

[smokedout]

[There's that flash of disappointment again - Dodger can say what he wants, but it isn't the sex he's interested in. Not exactly. He wants attention from Theon, and to be wanted by him, and to explore the limits of his broken and mangled body. He may as well be a dog shown a steak, and told to sit and wait.]

Don't worry about me.

[His fingers seem to suddenly be searing hot, and as they catch the fabric of Theon's shirt and push upward it splits and burns away in a clean line. When his hand catches the man's jaw he doesn't burn him, but the warmth is still there under the surface. It matches the intense, off-balance focus in Dodger's eyes as he runs his thumb over Theon's lips, never breaking his gaze from the other's.]
